     Welcome
 Edgerton Elementary School

Thank you for stopping by the Edgerton Elementary homepage and taking time to check in with us as we begin 2018!

While we are excited to kick off 2018 with positivity and vigor to instruct our students, Christmas break is also an opportune time to press pause and reflect. It is also of great importance that we take time to appreciate the things that we have. For example, I am very appreciative to work with great students, an amazing staff of educators, as well as an outstanding and supportive community at Edgerton Local Schools.

Christmas break is an ideal time to re-energize and spend time with loved ones. As part of our reflection time, it is also important that we be intentional in making sure we are always striving to do what is best for our students. Our goal is to provide the highest level of quality instruction possible, which includes that we continue to evaluate elementary-wide pedagogical practices and continue to meet the needs of all Edgerton students.

As we turn the page to 2018, we encourage communication from parents and community members in reminding them that we always have an open-door policy. Instructionally we want to continue to professionally develop all staff members in instructional methods and teach our students through innovative use of technology in the classroom. We will continue to develop well-rounded students by continually discussing positive character traits such as kindness, empathy, honesty, respect, responsibility, and working collaboratively with one another.

At Edgerton Elementary, we are extremely proud of our students, staff, and how we serve Edgerton and the surrounding community. In 2018 we will continue to instill Excellence into our students by developing Leaders prepared to Serve in a global community. If I can be of any assistance in answering any questions you may have regarding Edgerton Elementary, please contact the Edgerton Elementary office.

Yours in education,

Brent Saneholtz
